He is also a faculty research associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research. He is an expert in corporate finance and entrepreneurial finance.

Dr Zeitler is certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology and Medical Oncology. He has held positions of Clinical Assistant and Associate Professor at UNC in the past.
